Many new families and their children attended our first orientation session at school last Thursday. The session was positive and offered a great opportunity for these families to find out more about our great school and how to prepare for school. The children had fun in the kindy rooms and our year 6 had lots of fun helping out in the room as peer mentors. The second session will be held at the same time this coming Thursday and parents this week will be offered attendance at a literacy and numeracy workshop that will offer some strategies for supporting their children in transition to school and during their first year at school.
