Thanks to volunteer efforts from Lend Lease and Ernst and Young, the school has seen some improvements that have brightened up the outside areas. These improvements are much appreciated and we hope that they help to make the school a better place for all our students. We will be this week beginning to work on the library and this work will be completed for the beginning of next year.
The good news does not end there. The school is pleased to announce that Assets Management Unit has agreed to a significant schedule of maintenance that will see the painting and improvements of four classrooms, including the partition of the current kindy room into two and the current 2/3P classroom to be opened into one large learning area. They will also be fixing a retaining wall next to the preschool and removing three trees from the courtyard and making the surface in that area safe for children to play on. Finally, there will be some painting of the Church Street end of the school.
