Welcome to Term 2 of 2016 for 2016. We hope your children are all rested as we are and ready for another great term of learning at St Peters Public School. At a recent conference I attended for primary principals, I talked to a principal whose very first teaching position was at St Peters Public School. This was in the early 1980's when the enrolment at the school was over 160 students. At that point, the school had undergone a major refurbishment including the building of block B.
As time has passed there has come a need for improvements and we are pleased to announce that the carpet in the KMP classroom has been replaced and the entrance lino upgraded to meet health and safety guidelines. Additionally, the concrete floor in the B Block Corridor has been upgraded with hard wearing and more hygienic lino floor covering. These upgrades were funded by the department of educations assets maintenance program. When you see them I think you will agree that they represent a significant upgrade to the environment.
