Peer Support

This week students from K-6 will commence our Peer Support Program led by our 4/5/6 students. For the next 8 weeks students in K-3 will be in groups of 4-5-6 students to work with 2 peer leaders on a module titled Stronger Together. The module focuses on building supportive relationships amongst students and anti bullying strategies.

Our peer leaders have been trained and will plan their sessions each week using the materials provided from Peer Support Australia that are specifically designed for student led sessions. Our class teachers will prepare students, supervise sessions and check understanding at the end of the session. Peer Support Australia provides reading and resources specifically for parents.
