Following discussion amongst staff, a decision has been made to provide supervision of the play of students in the school playground from 8:30am. Previously this was 8:35am. If students arrive before this time, they are welcome to wait in the school playground by sitting on the steps. Be aware that Tribe OOSH provides a before school care service that starts at 7:30am and drops off in the school playground. This is a safe alternative should you need to attend early meetings.
In the afternoon, school ends at 3pm. Staff pass students to parents and nominated carers at pickup at 3pm. It is requested that if you are running late, you call the school office to let us know so we can provide emergency supervision. Again Tribe OOSH have an after school program that can provide a structured after school care program. They are also able to offer casual before and after school places by calling 0402 709 240 after 2:30pm.
It is important to note that it is necessary to advise the school of any change in adults picking up students. A note to the teacher, call or email to the school will suffice for this.
