RAW Art RAW art is a professional art education organisation that provide high quality art and craft workshops in schools. They have a long association with the school and this year they will be returning on Tuesday for 4 weeks of workshops. There will be a note sent home tomorrow (Monday) with payment details. This year the school will be subsidising the cost of the workshops as this is an important part of your child's visual art education.
Marrickville Network Public Speaking Last Wednesday's public speaking finals went very well and parents, teachers and students from 10 schools attended the 4 divisions. Our speakers; Marlow, Billie, Archie and Asher spoke very well and while no trophies were won, they should be very proud of their efforts. There were many compliments from parents of other schools about our lovely school. They were very impressed with our wonderful stage 3 students who helped make the competition run smoothly. Fantastic work everyone.
