Welcome Back

  Welcome Back

Welcome back to brand new term of learning at St Peters. We trust that you had a restful and enjoyable break over the Easter and Anzac Day holidays. The staff came back for a staff development day on Monday and we are all raring to go for a big term of learning. Please remember that we will be hitting the ground running straight away this term with learning commencing in all classrooms.

ANZAC Day Ceremony

We will be holding a short and respectful ANZAC Day ceremony on Thursday morning before lunch. This will be in the main playground and will be led by year 6. During the ceremony there will be one minute silence observed. If you wish to come along to our service, please come to the main playground at 10:20am ready for a 10:30am start.

Helping Hands

Helping Hands have been using the holiday period to setup interim care at the school. They will commence tomorrow morning at 7:30am. We have been working closely with them and are pleased to announce that the staff to be: Educators - Jarrod Watson and Adam Vilimaa. They will be coordinated this week by Michelle Bates and Tracey Upton who are regional operations managers. Starting on 5 May will be full time coordinator Zain Swaleh. We have already distributed enrolment packs and more are available in reception. Online enrolment is also possible.

Cross Country Carnival

The school's cross country carnival will be held next Tuesday 2 May. All students will run with kindy and year 1 students running with 4/5/6 students. Those turning 8 and over in 2017 will run and their races will be timed to allow them to qualify for the South Sydney zone cross country carnival. The kinder weather over the holiday should have had a chance to dry the oval out. We hope the rain will hold off until next week.
