Happy Holidays
This Wednesday 19 December the school will finish for the 2018 school year. Teacher will be returning for a school development day on 20 December and the office will be open until 3pm on this day for the purchase of uniforms or payment of outstanding invoices.
After this time, the school will close until Tuesday 29 January when it will reopen from 8:30am for school uniform purchase. Students in year 1 to 6 begin on Wednesday 30 January. If you need to contact the school urgently, the school phone will be diverted and answered. We all very much wish you happy holidays. Whatever you are doing, we hope you stay safe, enjoy it and take time to spend some of the downtime with your hard working children. We’ll see you again in 2019.
Presentation Day
As we lead up to the end of year, our annual presentation day will be held from 9:15am this Tuesday 18 December in our school hall. Apart from the presentation of awards, we will be having some performances to break up the presenting of awards. Families are cordially invited to attend but we ask you to let us know if you are bringing a large contingent to the awards.
Volunteers Morning Tea
After the event, volunteers who have helped at the school are invited to a volunteers morning tea. The volunteers morning tea will be held this year in the Aora Meeting Room close to the school oval and gate. All volunteers who help this year are welcome to attend. We have tried to invite everyone who has helped, but we may have missed someone so please come along if you have helped around the school on working bees, P&C events, in classrooms or perhaps as an ethics teacher.
P&C Extraordinary General Meeting
After the volunteers morning tea at 12pm on 18 December, the P&C will be holding an EGM to discuss and vote on some items carried over from the past meeting including the school canteen.
