Clean Up a School Day
Clean up Australia day is a fixture in the Australian calendar. Setup in 1989 an ‘average Australian bloke' - Ian Kieman had a simple idea to make a difference in his own backyard - Sydney Harbour. Many years later the Clean up operation has evolved and schools are invited to clean up their own grounds to contribute to the value of community and teach children the value of respecting their environment. On Friday between 10.40am and 11.10am St Peters students will work in their house groups to clean up the school grounds.
P&C AGM and General Meeting
Thank you to all those parents who came along last Tuesday to the P & C AGM and general meeting. The school has a new P&C president. Dr. Gavin Watkins will take up the role and will be helped by Kate Hafey who will take the vice-president role. Gavin is a new parent at the school and is sure to bring lots of ideas - thank you Gavin. The next P&C meeting will be held on 28 March at 7pm in the school staffroom. While the main positions have been filled, help is still needed for sub committees.
