 Scholastic Book Club Ordering

This Monday the first issue of the 2018 Scholastic Book Club will go home with your children. Scholastic are a company that publishes and provides books aimed at children and schools. Their book club program provides a published catalogue that goes home at St Peters six times a year. The issues contain items that can be ordered. Those items are then sent to the school and distributed to students. Scholastic donate credits to the school for all books ordered and these are used by the school to purchase books that are put into the school library and classroom reading collections.

Existing parents will be aware of the order process. For new parents, however, it is important for you to know that this process is done entirely online by the Scholastic Book Linked Online Ordering Payment (LOOP) platform. Apps for LOOP can be downloaded from the Apple and Google Play app stores. Register through the app or via the weblink:

Register for LOOP

Once registered you choose you school, add your child, and choose their class. The books get automatically added to the schools order for each issue and verified. You pay for the books online through the app.

Please note that we are unable to take paper orders and thuse you must use this process.

Student Activity Statements

This week a letter will be sent home to all parents comprising the student activity statements for 2018. This year these statements are for the ENTIRE YEAR and include items for Mathletics, Reading Eggs, Got Game and other fees that vary depending on grade. The fees on this statement will be scheduled to be paid by the end of Term 1. The statement also contains an item which is a voluntary contribution. This  has been frozen once again at $20. The same as it was since 2015. Thank you for paying these fees early. If you believe you are not in a position to service this fee for your children, we appreciate your honesty in approaching us to discuss how these can be paid. Thank you.

Uniform Sales

The office is increasingly becoming aware of uniform sales that are taken with a view to paying them online and then are not payed. Please be aware that when these are not payed we haveto chase payment. If this trend continues, Mrs Ross has advised that the school will have no option other than to expect point of sale cash payment for all uniform sales.
