Aora Building Refurbishment

Some of our families of older children will remember that we once hosted a library on the site in our C Block. This building is located next to the car park and for the last few years since the closure of the Aora Library, it has been used for community users at the site including the a playgroup. The building is in need of some restoration work and we are pleased to announce that the building is from Thursday this week to be renovated and converted into a conference room for the Education Director and St Peters Office. This will provide a valuable meeting space for the department.

The renovation work will require the site to be sealed as flooring is removed. The waste removed will take place at weekends, outside of school hours. While the conference room will no longer be available to school community users, it will be used at times by the school for special events. Community users will be hosted elsewhere at the school site and this will include the community playgroup that will now take part in the hall on Wednesday mornings.

New Procedures for Notes

We are pleased to announce that the school has new procedures for the easier delivery of notes to the school office. On entering the school office and facing the fish tank on the left hand side there is now a crème coloured cabinet which has holes in the top. The cupboard below is locked and secure. We would like notes, and notes with money to be now placed in this box and not given to teachers or school admin staff. We will collect the notes from here daily allowing them to be addressed.

Student Activity Statements

Student activity statements are now due to be paid to the office. Thank you to all those who have paid. If you have not, please pay these now or contact the office should you need special consideration.
