Last week on Monday Inner West Drama began their drama club at St Peters. This program is an extra curricular program and their is an additional cost associated. However, Inner West Drama are offering a free first week to any interested students. The classes take place on school grounds and Inner West Drama have also arranged to take children to Helping Hands should you need their care later. This is an exciting development at St Peters - please support it. Register at the website on the poster attached.
Safety on Site
We are ever vigilant of safety on the school site and during the time that we have workers operating on the Aora Building and painters painting parts of the school we request that parents be more careful with student safety. Last week a parent gratefully reported a worker operating unsafely. This allowed us to act immediately to remind all workers of operating safely on the site. Should you have any concerns, please ensure that you let us know so we can act to ensure ongoing safe practices.
Zone Cross Country Carnival
The zone cross country carnival will be held on Friday 1 June. St Peters will be submitting a team to meet at the location of the event. The team will be selected based on the results of our school carnival held late last term. There are qualification times for the zone carnival and these will be used to determine who represents the school. A note will be sent home this week.
New Parent Information Evening
A reminder that on Tuesday 29 May at 7:30pm in the school library there will be an information session for parents with children who will be ready to start school in 2019. The session is designed to allow you to find out more about the school, how it operates and what the next steps for enrolment are. Should you know anyone who would benefit from this session please let them know.
