Assembly - Merit Certificates

Last week we were unable to hold our merit certificate assembly due to the inclement weather. The handing out of merit certificates will now take place during our Monday afternoon assembly this week. The assembly will also feature the Echidnas and due to the absence of the Dingoes while they are at their camp, the assembly will be run by year 4 students from the Goannas.

Canteen - Needs You

As we bid farewell to our wonderful canteen operator, Maria Demirel, at the end of this year, the P&C would like to call upon any parents, grandparents or friends of the school who would be interested in taking over this rewarding and important role from 2019. Responsibilities would include (but are not limited to): working with the canteen sub-committee to develop the menu & offerings, structuring for the future, coordinating weekly orders (in person and potentially online), shopping for auxiliary supplies and operating the canteen as per the current hours on one day each week. In addition, if you’re keen but only able to offer assistance on a occasional volunteer basis, we would love to hear from you! Expressions of interest can be emailed to stpeterspandc@gmail.com which will be redirected to the sub-committee (who will then contact you directly).

Contacts on Monday and Tuesday

Dr Lavitt and Miss Cusack will be enjoying the Stage 3 camp with the Dingoes on Monday and Tuesday. During this time Mrs Iriarte will be relieving Teaching Principal. Any emergency messages should be directed to her.

P&C Meeting

The P&C will be holding their monthly P&C meeting this Wednesday 5 September at 7pm in the school library. All parents are welcome to join us.

Parent Teacher Interviews - Book Now

Book now for our parent teacher interviews are held at the end of terms 1 and 3. This year these will be held on Tuesday 18 September. Ten minute appointments will be held between 1pm and 6:15pm on this day and will be soon bookable via the parent portal. A sheet explaining this process is attached to this email.
