Today, the school’s P&C will be hosting Movie Night. The P&C run movie night every two years and proceedings start at 4pm. There are lots of fun activities for the kids to join in with and food and non alcoholic beverages will be available. Entry is free but entry to the Kids Fun Zone is $15 per child. The movie will start at 7:40pm as the Sun sets. Looking at the weather forecast it looks great for the event with a chance of some showers later. Fingers crossed. The school would like to thank the P&C and all of the volunteers who are giving up their time to make this event work. A poster and order form for kid zone bands is attached later in this newsletter.
The shade structure promised for the courtyard area is finally coming in week 7. It will take a week to be fitted with the posts being erected on Monday 25 November and the canopy on Friday 29 November. The shade structure will transform our morning and merit assemblies with the space finally to have all of our children under the shade again. We used to manage it many years ago in the main playground but this structure will also allow us shade finally in the play area.
