Parent Information Evening - 12 February
This is a last reminder that the school will be holding a parent teacher evening at 6:30pm this Monday 11 February. Helping hands are providing child minding for enrolled families. You must contact them at: stpeters@helpinghandsnetwork.com.au or calling 0409 915 708 (messages may be left out of the normal OHSC hours). See you all there.
Chess
As indicated in an email communicated to year 1 to 6 parents last week, chess started last Wednesday and is now available for booking. Chess will be available for kindy children in term 3 and 4 of this year. This week chess will be on Tuesday to allow the swimming carnival to operate without disruption to chess.
School Photographs
St Peters Public School has its school photographs taken early in the year. This year these will occur on Wednesday 20 February. Envelopes for choice and payment were distributed last week. Please ensure these are returned to the school before the end of the week to allow the day to be organised.
P&C AGM
Also on 20 February, the school will be holding an AGM meeting in the school library at 7pm.

Ron Hoening and Darcy Byrne Meeting
Again on 20 February at 3:20pm in the school library, Mr Ron Hoening - State Member for Heffron together with Mayor, Clr Darcy Byrne – Balmain Ward - Inner West Council will be attending a community meeting of anyone interested in discussing issues and concerns around WestConnex. All of our community is welcome and during the meeting, the school will provide child caring facilities to school aged children.
Scripture and Ethics
Scripture and Ethics will recommence at St Peters on Tuesday 19 February. Choices for SRE or SEE for existing students will be used from last year. If you wish your child to change please contact the school office by Wednesday of this week.
