As communicated last week, the school will be hosting parent-teacher interviews on 2 April. This is an ideal opportunity to meet your child(ren)’s teacher and discuss progress over this term and work through any issues. The interviews can be booked via the parent portal which is accessible at:
There you can select parent teacher interview bookings from the menu on the left and select a timeslot. Of course bookings are on a first come, first serve basis and teacher will be available across timeslots between 1pm and 6:15pm. Please try and make yourself available on this day. Between 1pm and 3pm, students will be taking part in a peer support reading and PE session.
Clean Up a School Day
As you may know, this coming weekend is Clean Up Australia weekend. This yearly event is aimed at developing environmental accountability as well as developing a sense of community. Our contribution will be to host a Clean Up a School day this Friday. Between 1pm and 1:40pm, students will be getting into House Groups and weather permitting will be directed to an area of the school where they will look to clean up the school. We request that you send your child on Friday in their House Shirts so that they can work in their these teams led by their House Captains.
Assembly - Swimming Ribbons and Badges
Tomorrow’s assembly will feature an item by the Goannas. In addition, it will feature the confirmation of our 2019 Student Representative Council and House Captains, including the handing of their badges. Additionally, ribbons will be handed out for our recent swimming carnival as per the list of places shown in last weeks newsletter. As we have lots to cover we will be starting a little earlier so please be ready to start by 2:20pm in or school hall. All parents and carers are most very welcome.
Unfortunately, issue one of the book club was handed out last week and the final date to order through the Loop App has already passed. It is still possible to order but it will be via delivery to your home and sadly with additional postage costs. We are sorry that this has happened but fortunately Issue 2 will be available soon and it will be distributed as soon as it arrives.
Book Now! Comedy for a Cause - 9 March
This great event has the potential to be a great evening out as well as a big earner for the P&C and ultimately the school. Please spread the word, organise a group and book ASAP.
