Book Now! Comedy for a Cause - 9 March

As many of you are aware, the P&C are putting on an ‘Adults Only’ Comedy Night this Saturday 9th March 2019. This event will raise funds to support our school and students. This event is open to the wider community and we need every parent and carer to help support and advertise the event to friends and family. We encourage everyone to book online as every ticket sold at the door gets a $3.00 penalty charged by Comedy for a Cause (this means less potential to earn any profits). The details for the evening are as follows:

When: Saturday 9th March 2019 Where: School Hall Time: 6.30pm entry, 7.30pm performances begin

Food: Pizzas will be available for purchase on the night. We are selling them as a full large pizza for $15 (please group together to share as they are 15inch pizzas and would feed 3 people).

Drinks: $5 Wine, $5 Beer, $2 Soft Drink will all be available to purchase. Bottled water will be on offer for free. Payment: Please bring CASH on the night as there is no ATM and this function will be a cash only function.

New Canteen Solution

The P&C are excited to announce that a new-and-improved school Canteen service will be delivering yummy food & drinks every week beginning TUESDAY 12th MARCH. We have engaged Botany Bites as our external supplier - via a super easy online ordering system - to cater for both students and staff. Should you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to the P&C or Botany Bites direct. Flyers for Flexischools will be sent home this week as well as copies of the menu to enable you all to get yourself set up. The school plans to use Flexischools for uniform ordering soon so it’s important for you to get used to this mode of ordering. There will be no opportunity to buy items with cash. All of the orders will be brought to the school on a Tuesday in insulated Hot or Cold bags and taken directly to your child(ren)’s class.

Drinking Stations

Some of you may be aware that there is a drinking station on the school oval and between the courtyard and main playgrounds. These were a joint effort between the P&C and school and sadly they have take some time to put into place. The cause of this was missing brackets which we have now finally spoken to the original manufacturer about and who will be rectifying the issue. From next Friday we should be able to use the oval drinking station. Teachers will unlock and  lift the lid on this station at the start of play and relock it at the end.
