We wish to express our extreme admiration for our great music teacher Ms Stacey Caponas for receiving a Classroom Teacher Award at the 2019 Combined Marrickville, Kogarah, Canterbury and Georges River Principal Networks Awards on Thursday 22 November at Ashfield Boys High School. She was nominated by Mr Lavitt and the Principal of Marrickville West Public School Ms Ruth Bradfield Ling where Stacey also works. Ms Caponas has made a massive difference to our music programs at St Peters evidenced by the enthusiasm and quality of performance of the children at assemblies and out of the school. Well done Ms Caponas.
The shade structure promised for the courtyard area is finally coming in week 7. It will take a week to be fitted with the posts being erected on Tuesday 26 November and the canopy on Friday 29 November.
On these two days, the courtyard will be closed and families will have to enter and leave the school via the main gate in the school office.
