The NSW Premier's Primary School Sport Challenge aims to engage young people in sport and physical activity and encourages them to lead healthy, active lifestyles. The Premier's Primary School Sport Challenge involves primary school classes participating in a 10 week sport and physical activity challenge. Soon students at St Peters will be participating in a challenge to aim for meeting physical challenge goals. Additionally all staff at the school will be taking up the challenge also. First things first though - this Tuesday all year 5 and 6 students will be competing in a leaders day for the challenge at Wilkins Public School. Last year, years 5 and 6 had a blast at Wilkins and enjoyed it immensely. At Wilkins, the students combine from many public schools to play lots of different sports in a rotating group format.
