Tomorrow (Monday 22 August) a number of students from year 4, 5 and 6 will be attending the Festival of Instrumental Music Acacia concert at the Sydney Opera House. They will form part of a recorder ensemble of approximately 700 recorders made up of students from NSW Public Schools all over NSW. For some of our students this is not their first concert and they will all be able to tell you what an experience it is. We had a preview of their performance at the education open day assembly and Mrs Caponas is extremely happy with the dedication of the players and the quality of their performance. Both Mr Lavitt and Miss Sheridan will be there to enjoy the performance.
